Where can I obtain the Application Form?
Application Forms are made available at Administrative Office, National College of Pharmacy, Shimoga. Go to our Downloads section in the website and download the appropriate application form (which is given in the PDF format). Fill in the details in the printed form of the same application and send it across to our office along with application fee. For further assistance or information regarding the same, e-mail us at ncpsmg@yahoo.co.in

Can Xerox copies of application forms be used?
You can fill out an Xerox copies of application form which can be directly downloaded and printed at your convenience along with the D. D. of prescribed Fee.

Does NCP arrange any educational loans?
Selected applicants can apply directly to many nationalized and private sector banks for educational loans. Necessary documents and other assistance will be provided by SSB to facilitate the process.

When Can I visit the Campus ?
We have several visitation programmes for prospective students. Check our admission page for specific dates. If those dates do not work for you, contact us at ncpsmg@yahoo.co.in and we will arrange for a suitable date for you.

Is there a separate hostel facility for the girls?
Yes, there are separate hostels for the girls. For more details, kindly browse through the website to find the requisites about the hostel facilities or do call us, to find out in detail.

What are the plans to placement Assistance?
National College of Pharmacy, Shimoga has a separate placement cell which will invite various MNCs to the campus for recruitment and it trains its students to become successful in these interviews. Please visit to our placement cell link for more information.

How NCP is different than other colleges?
1. NCP gives equal importance to teaching, training and research. The institution has excellent faculty members, most of them are Ph.D. degree holders having rich professional experience.

2. The adopted teaching methodology and course of action is designed in such a way that the students will become expert in concepts,skills and industry exposure. Students have to undergo 02 internals tests.

3. NCP fledged with excellent campus including modern classrooms with audio visual aids, well established Digital Library, Computer and Networking labs, health center, Sports facility, Multy Gym and Canteen etc., for the overall curriculum fulfillments.

Does NCP is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) ?
Yes. AICTE is a statutory body of Central Government to permit to start, promote and control Technical Education in India. This power is given by the AICTE Act of Parliament in 1987, with a view to ensure the proper planning and coordinated development of Technical Education System throughout the Country.

Technical Education in this context includes fields of Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Town Planning, Management, Pharmacy and Applied Arts & Crafts. Technical programmes cannot be run/offered without the prior approval of AICTE. Legal action will be initiated against institutions/ organizations running/offering technical programmes/ courses without the approval of AICTE.
