The course of study in Diploma in Pharmacy comprises of Part-I and Part-II. There shall be an examination in the first year on the subjects of Part-I and an examination in the second year comprising the Part-II subjects.
For SC/ST Category-I candidates, the prescribed percentage of marks will be 50% of the maximum marks in the qualifying examinations for Karnataka State Students.
Duration of Course
The course of academic training is of 2 years duration with minimum of 180 working days per year followed by a practical training not less than 500 hours.

Internal Assessment
Three sessional examinations shall be conducted during the academic year by the college. The average marks of best two examinations, separately for theory and practical shall be computed for the declaration of Results..
Attendance
The candidates are normally expected to attend all allotted work period (both theory and practicals) in each of the prescribed subject. They should attend 80% of the total number of classes conducted in each of the subject to be eligible to appear for the university examination in that subject.
